Contrary to what Governor Hochul recently said in a press conference, please do NOT call PPG for a COVID vaccine appointment for your 5-11 year old! The vaccine is currently not fully approved for that age group, and it will use a different vial which has not even been released by the company yet. We are not going to schedule hundreds of appointments to then have to reschedule them if a) we don’t get the product on time or b) don’t get the approval on time. We will post to the website when we are ready to open up for appointments for this age group. We ARE currently vaccinating all children 12 years and up who wish to receive a COVID vaccine.
