About two years ago, Panorama Pediatrics undertook the process of becoming a certified medical home through NCQA (National Center for Quality Assurance).  Just recently, we found out we qualified for Level 3, which is the highest certification!  A lot of this was proving and documenting the thing we already do, but it also added some things (the "how are we doing" posters you might have seen in the office, for instance).  All of this is mainly to show that we are the "quarterback" for your child's care.  Part of this is having "continuous improvement", so you will be seeing and hearing more in the future about this!
