PPG during the COVID epidemic
/Panorama Pediatrics wants you to know we are working our hardest to care for each of your children during this unique and difficult time. We have instituted several temporary changes to work as best we can to continue to care for our patients while also doing our best to ensure everyone’s safety:
Instead of just sick and well waiting rooms each whole side of the office will now be well or sick.
We are asking that families come to appointments with two people only: the patient, and one parent/guardian. Please leave siblings home when at all possible, especially if they are ill
We will soon be rolling out a texting system to allow you to wait in the car and then come in when we message that your room is ready
We will soon be rolling out telemedicine visits on a limited basis for specific types of visits
We feel our office is uniquely configured to be able to continue to operate and offer the important services (well child exams and immunizations, chronic disease and medication management, care for other winter/seasonal illnesses) that still need attention even during this pandemic. If you have an upcoming appointment that was previously scheduled, and your child is well, you can be rest assured that we are doing everything we can to allow you to come to that visit safely. If you still have any questions about whether to bring your child to a regularly scheduled visit, please call the office to discuss further.
